WiFi Adaptors

Sun Feb 28, 2016 7:19 pm

Sorry, its been asked before but juts wanted a catch up.

Can anyone recommend some good USB WiFi dongles for my Raspberry Pi's - Model B's, 2's and a Zero.

I am looking for some low profile ones for robotics and standard size ones for bench work.

thanks

You may find my article useful:

You can find a larger list at elinux.org, however I have personally tested the adapters in the article above with A/A+/B/B+/2

The Pi Zero results for the adapters are at

for the moment, but I will merge them with my main WiFi test article above RSN :)

Thanks mikronaughts;

I went for the EdiMax EW-7811Un in the end, just ordered two, one for my project robot and a spare which gets used for testing etc.

2 x Edimax arrived yesterday from Amazon, worked straight out of the box - big thumbs up for these tiny adaptors. Pity they don't make a 300 micro version?
