Server X not working Kali Linux

I boot up Kali on my Raspberry Pi 2 and instead of taking me to the login GUi I have to type it on the screen, then I type startx. After a while it tells me there is a Fatal error and something to do with startx. Help me please.

Please post the exact error message.
Are you logging into the Pi directly (with physical keyboard + screen) are remotely (e.g. using SSH)?
