I bought my Pi online (element14) and the shipping said 6 weeks, and I live in Winnipeg, MB (Canada) and I receieved my Pi in less than a week, but a friend has been waiting over a month.
Is my friend's late, or did I get mine early?

Did your friend also buy from newark/element14? if so his order has probablly fallen between the cracks somewhere and I'd advise him to get on to them.
If he ordered from allied then I would suggest he places a new order with newark/element14 as they seem to be far less backordered.
