I am trying to get VNC working from my RPI to both my PC and my iPad. I can get Remote Desktop to work from the PC, but VNC just gives me a grey screen (with black cross cursor), on all client platforms.
I am using TightVNC as my PI server, and RealVNC as my client on each of PC, iPad and iPhone. I am definitely making a connection, as I am asked to enter my VNCserver password on the client.
I have tried changing the depth to both 32 and 24, as some of the other threads suggest, but this doesn't change anything.
