Ethernet port issues on pi 2

Tue Feb 09, 2016 11:06 am

Hi,
I am connecting my pi 2 (debian) headless. When I switch on the device, the ethernet port is not active. However, if I plug in the HDMI cable to the PC the port becomes active and I can connect the pi 2 via putty.
So, Is there a code tht needs to be modified so that the ethernet port becomes active on boot?

Looking at some older posts I would say it's a power problem.
Try with a different PSU and / or microUSB cable.
