RPi_Cam_Web_Interface not working

Hi to all.
I'm new to this Raspberry stuff ,so excuse me if I'm asking a dumb question :0)
I Can't get the http://elinux.org/RPi-Cam-Web-Interface working properly. I have a webcam attached to my pi 2b.
fswebcam can take a picture just fine and vlc shows a video image ok , so I know the camera is working ok.
I've installed the " http://elinux.org/RPi-Cam-Web-Interface" software and it all went according to the webpage description ,
but I just get this image on the webpage.(attached) . I've changed various camera and system settings on the displayed
web page , but no luck. I'm sure I've missed something obvious , so any help appreciated.
I'm running Wheezy with latest updates/upgrades etc. I have tried different browsers as well.

RPi Cam Web only works with the official Raspberry Camera, not with a USB webcam.
