pi zero on battery, consequences

Sun Jan 31, 2016 8:03 am

I have my little pi zero sat next to me on the arm chair. ( Much better than the wife! )
It's on a 4xAA USB battery pack designed for a mobile.
It only has a Wifi dongle as a peripheral and is running Jessi-Lite
I wonder how long it will last.
What is the current and what does a dongle consume, anyone know?

Also what are the consequences of it going flat. Will it do it gracefully or risk trashing the SD card ??

Might get my meter out as I think I can get it in to the battery pack and see what current it pulls !

It may not die gracefully but corrupt the SD card.
