Hi guys.
I have recently bought a RPi2 and installed OpenELEC (the variant for Pi boards) equipped with Kodi. Everything is fine I'm so pleased with the setup except one minor thing. In my old setup (a normal old PC + Windows 7 + Kodi) if I would pause the video and go to video settings there would be two options for Brightness and Contrast (digital enhancement I assume) which really illuminated some dark videos that I had (especially some really dark TV series in bad quality).
These two options are apparently missing now. The users at openELEC forums which use this variant that I'm using but not on RPi declare they have these options so this leads me that it's not about a software defect and I supspect the board somehow cannot support that "Kodi feature".
Is there anyone who has come across this rather annoying thing? Of course there is the workaround that I can always max out my TV's brightness and contrast - and I would - if they weren't already at 100%.
Any knowledge someone has to share?
