Door sensor to trigger a video file.

Hi I would like help setting up this little project.

I want to be able to activate a welcome video on to a TV screen with a Raspberry Pi when some one come's through a door if this is possible.
New to the Raspberry Pi so need all the help I can get.

I could ask my colleagues who put up this welcome message on one of the doors in our company. It is definitely doable.

The Disco Ball was a 3€ one from ebay and the loudspeaker I don't know from where. The IR part is separate and small.

The video is still rendering at youtube... I wonder how long it takes. A funny prank anyway.
