Display for Kali Linux

Wed Jan 06, 2016 3:18 pm

Hello everyone. I have a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B that is running the Kali Linux 2.0. I have built this box to assist in performing report penetration tests. I have a WaveShare SpotPear 3.2 inch RPi LCD v4 TFT display that I only want to use to display the IP Address and time. Any help pointing me in the right direction or in getting this to work with Kali Linux would be greatly appreciated. I am new to Raspberry Pi but am an engineer. keep in mind that I am not a developer but can usually muddle my way through things. Thanks in advance for the help.

Kali, ubuntu, debian, raspbian all share a lot so any instructions you find will likely work on any of those with little or no modification.
