Balloon Launch North Devon

Sun Jan 03, 2016 6:50 pm

Hi;

I am planning on carrying out a launch sometime before July 2016 in North Devon.
Just an enquiry at this stage to see if anyone is in this area and would be willing to help out?

Thanks

I not able to get to Devon for the launch. However, another teacher and I are looking using a weather balloon and a raspberry pi to get data from Central Wisconsin, USA. I am currently looking for information on how to do this. Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The link posted by Gordon77 will definitely get you going in the right direction. The blog by Dave Akerman is a MUST READ as is the link to the UKHAS.

I am sure there will be a reference in there somewhere to HabHub which as I understand it is the tracking site for such activities. At a glance it looks to cover worldwide.

Good luck and update this forum with your progress and questions (as will I).
