Wireless keyboard help

Fri Jan 01, 2016 9:36 pm

I am just in the process of setting up my new Raspberry Pi. Everything works fine except my wireless keyboard. The wireless mouse connects fine via the same USB dongle. I know the keyboard works as I have just swapped it over from a different computer. Is there anything I can do to get this working? Are there certain keyboards that don't work? It seems odd that the mouse works fine but the keyboard doesn't....

Thanks in advance

There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't.

I am using a wireless setup from Logitech that interfaces both the keyboard and the mouse thru one USB plug on the RPI. It was plug and play and only uses one USB port on the RPi. I also have a Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800 that was only $21.95 on Amazon and it is plug n play on the RPi. I am not sure what part of the world you are in, but these 2 setups should be readily available.
