Transfer Windows Files On Pi 2

Sun Dec 27, 2015 10:44 pm

What is the easiest way to transfer files (such as mp3/mp4) from Windows 10 to a Raspberry Pi 2?

Thanks

Is there any way to do this using the sd card the os is installed on and plug it into the computer? Could k partition the card so half is os and half is shareable storage?

I just want to move a wallpaper across tbh and I don't want to buy a USB hub (doubling my total cost towards Tom Pi zero) and using a USB.

I don't know if this is frowned upon, but if it's just one small file you want to transfer you could probably put it on the fat BOOT partition with the card plugged into the Windows box, and then move it off of the /boot partition to where you needed it when you put it back in the Pi.

If you're sitting on the windows pc: filezilla, sftp, sd card in USB adapter or flash drive.

If you're sitting on the pi, flash drive. More advanced would be to map to the windows drive.
