mail error - shared libraries not found!

mail: error while loading shared libraries: labmu_cfg.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

This just started happening on my Pi.

I have not a clue how to fix this, or why it happened.

Can anyone help?
I can't send any emails now

I purges ssmtp and mailutils and then re-installed. Now I get "Illegal Instruction" when I try to send an email with the above command.

Oh wow. What a mess!
I had to autoremove all these packages:

guile-2.0-libs
libgc1c2
libgsasl7
libkyotocabinet16
libmailutils4
libmysqlclient18
libntlm0
libunistring0
mailutils-common
mysql-common

then remove ssmtp and mailutils, again, and then re-install ssmtp and mailutils.
Now its finally working again!
