So I have this huge dream like everyone else but the only thing I am not 100% about how to do is creating a UI to control everything. My wife is a volunteer firefighter and is wanting to add some strobe lights to our POV, my main issue is I hate the thought of having switches and panels everywhere. My dream would be to do like many others have and set her car up with a Touchscreen which includes a media center and vehicle diagnostics, but i would love to have a UI that you could control the strobe lights and such through easily. Making them work is easy enough with relay panels, that isn't really my issue. I am just wondering if there is a UI out there that can be customized and contain all of the features that I'm going for.

My idea is that the UI either listed the items (i.e. Front Hideaways, Grille, Sides, Rear, Traffic Advisor, etc.) or have some sort of nice looking pictures/diagrams. I know Kodi (XBMC) have some nice options for media centers, Navigation, etc so if there were something within that UI that I could use/customize it would be amazing.
Any ideas? Hopefully this isn't too much of a stretch.
