Sun Nov 29, 2015 6:18 pm

Hey,
found this Asus Monitor Asus MB169B+ and wondered if this might be compatible with the Raspberry Pi. If not it should!

1. Any USB monitor will require a driver. €200 could be quite a lot to test if a RPi driver exists!

2. The monitor has a USB-3 interface. Even assuming a driver can be had, the USB-2 on a RPi could limit the speed of HD screen updates.

3. I think it is very unlikely that any of the hardware acceleration features of the GPU in the Broadcom SoC could be applied to an output to a USB screen.
