Thunderbird vs Claws

Why isn't thunderbird on Raspbian by default?
Is it that claws is on Raspbian instead of thunderbird?

fyi Thunderbird is rebranded IceDove on Debian see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_C ... an_project
Rather than negativity think outside the box !
RPi 4B 4GB (SSD Boot)..
Asus ChromeBox 3 Celeron is my other computer...
