Hi there,
as the DisplayPort on my computer is broken, I want to use the RPi to receive the stream emitted from VLC on the computer. The Pi is connected to the TV with an HDMI cable.
I tried to follow the instructions for VLC presented there, reversing the instructions so as to use the local computer as the source, but always end up with a blank screen on the Pi, and an exclamation point in local VLC.
What would be the proper way to stream MKV video files to this Pi?
