OSMC on Official Raspberry Pi Touchscreen

Thu Nov 19, 2015 10:35 am

Hello
Last night I set up my touch screen using Raspbian. I already had installed OSMC onto my SD card but now when I boot up it does not give me the option to switch OS like it did when I was connected to the HDMI. Is this normal?

I can't seem to find anywhere about how to switch OS once the screen is installed.

Can I launch OSMC from the command line in Raspbian and the touch screen work?

Not great when it comes to the programming so a step my step would be great.

Any advice welcome. Thank you in advance.

Raspbian and OSMC are 2 seperate Operating Systems.

Did you use NOOBS to install the Operating Systems ??

I did use NOOBS to install both onto the SD card.

Before I installed the screen when the system booted it would take me to a pop up screen where I could choose Raspbian or OSMC. This is no longer happening with the screen attached.

It is a NOOBS issue

Thanks fruitoftheloom. Issue was not with NOOBS but with the way I was using the screen. Sorted now but thanks for your help.
