[SOLVED] PCline PCL-300K webcam on Raspbian

Tue Nov 17, 2015 5:41 pm

Ok, I may be posting this on the wrong forum, but I have an ancient PCline PCL-300K webcam lying around, and was wondering if it can be used with a Raspberry Pi? Probably not, but it would be nice to find out... :) just wondering.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I would be using Raspbian with it.

As with every random USB device plug it in and see what happens.

dmesg
lsusb # ell, ess, you, ess, bee

will show you what Linux makes of your device and whether there's a built-in or loadable driver for it.
