Who has the most things running on a pi?

Mon Nov 16, 2015 6:54 pm

I was just wondering who has the most things running simultaneously on a pi, I interested in extra things I can run on my pi's and though it would be good to see what you all use yours for, so mine have the following functions:

b - getiplayer and mini dlna, serves up music and video to the network perfrectly
b+ - volumio (although since getting 2 chromecast audios it getting less use)
2 - nature cam - I've modified an external socket box to hold the pi, powerbank and cut holes for a PIR and camera board - work still in progress

So that's my poor effort - what are yours all up to?

Cheers,
b raspbian running get-iplayer and mini dlna server
b+ running volumio
pi 2 - dietpi - pihole, ssh and a few other bits

Okay, so i have three things running continuously for past 3 months.
1) samba NAS
2) torrent server with transmission
3) BOINC
my pi stays at 100% load 90% of the time and i haven't had any issues so far.
My apologies for shameless YouTube Plugs...

Cheers,
Poor effort?! I mostly use my Pi for web browsing. I also run Apache web server on it, and occasionally play games, code, play around with the Terminal, fix things, edit things, and dream of what I could do if I get a Pi 2 and another microSD card for Christmas. Now THAT is a poor effort.
:-).

I know I use too many parentheses. Problem?
