Playing audiofile

Sun Oct 25, 2015 8:11 am

Hi all RP experts,

I am in the need of a unit which is cabable of playing an audio file and loop it in a specific timeframe of the day (ex. 9 to 5)
I am sure it is possible to add an audiofile to the RP, but it is possible to install some auto shut down/open up software?

My secound question is if it possible to connect a 5.1 surround sound system directly to the RP? I have not been able to figure out if the RP has an normal output for minijack or i need a USB converter? If I need a converter please do suggest one :)

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards,

You can also use the 3.5 mm mini jack for audio.
