Problem installing nfs-kernel-server

Thu Oct 08, 2015 7:23 am

Hi, got an old Pi 1 running raspbian and I'm trying to share files on it with NFS to a ubuntu box. I'm following a tutorial and getting errors.

I type in sudo apt-get install nfs-kernel-server portmap nfs-common and get the following:-

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ sudo apt-get install nfs-kernel-server portmap nfs-common
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Note, selecting 'rpcbind' instead of 'portmap'
rpcbind is already the newest version.
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libtirpc1 : Breaks: nfs-common (< 1:1.2.8-7) but 1:1.2.6-4 is to be installed
Breaks: nfs-kernel-server (< 1:1.2.8-7) but 1:1.2.6-4 is to be installed
E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.

Any ideas please?
