It works by streaming the audio from the bluetooth microphone through a mobile device across the network to a machine that recognises the audio stream and passes it through microsoft's translate API and then passes it back to the raspberry pis one shows the entire conversation on the TV and the other controls the subtitles in the glasses via the s-video. It did allow me to have a conversation where I spoke English and my sister spoke spanish.
Does anyone have any ideas of how I could extend this further or other ideas involving raspberry pi and glasses tech because I would enjoy building them?
