Command Line Not Working

So I was using the command line in Raspbian I typed a command in wrong, what it did is send me into this line with a carrot to the left. If I type a command it will not work.

You probably included a quote character in your command without a second closing quote. Enter another quote character and press the Enter key. It will not understand the weird multi-line command you've entered, but it should get you out of this situation. You could also press Ctrl + C keys.
