Guide: Provision the Raspberry PI with Arch Linux

Thu Sep 10, 2015 11:09 pm

I have put a small guide/blog post together on setting up Arch Linux Arm on a Raspberry PI - primarily as a headless installation.

I don't find it any harder than using ISO images now that I've got used to the process.

If this is of any use to you please let me know. Likewise if you have any other feedback.

The blog is also hosted on a PI.

This is an ArchLinuxArm forum, not sure why you are posting a Debian image here?

It is definitely possible to install packages using ArchLinuxArm without internet access from the Pi, I did it with my 512 MB Model B and will be starting out the same way with my Pi 2. In fact, already have downloaded the packages I will need, and they are waiting for installation.

My guide to using Pacman without Internet Access:

@sdjf deleted possible link to possible malicious version of jessie, after user complaints about user PrivacyEnhanced.
