auto (un)mount HDD when not beein used

Tue Sep 08, 2015 7:23 am

I am using my Rpi2 as a storage facility with btsync. Right now my hdd is mounted on every boot. It works, but since the Rpi is always on, the hdd is also always mounted and I don't make constant use of my hdd.

I am looking for a way to make the hdd unmount automatically after a certain amount of time (for example 3 minutes) and mount as soon as I am using the Rpi, or btsync again. Any help appreciated :)
