My RPi desktop does not fit onto the TV. I've tried adjusting the Overscan settings, formatting the SD card and reinstalling NOOBs. Has anyone else experienced this issue? It used to work fine.
I cannot use my RPi because of it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stick a # character in front of every "framebuffer" "hdmi" and "overscan" line in your config.txt and see whether that works. There's none of that stuff in config.txt on any of my eight systems.
Also are you sure you're editing the right config.txt? If using NOOBS hold the [SHIFT] key during boot and use the NOOBS recovery system editor.
