OEE Project

Thu Aug 27, 2015 6:20 pm

Hi all first of would like to say what a great forum and say hi to everyone.

as always am new to this but i was wondering is it possible to make a project for OEE ( Overall Equipment Effectiveness )

i was hoping to make a program that can log all OEE with a pre-set of 6 faults that i would be able to push a button and the program would log the time of the button pressed IE: 1. Running 2. Maint 3. Tool Fault 4. Rejects and so on.

is this possible is the first question ? if so could someone point me in the right direction of the sort of thing i would need ?

Thanks

Have you had any luck with your OEE project? I am currently working on the same thing currently using the PiFace Looking for some samples.

You need to use the GPIO pins to connect to switches, buttons, leds and sensors. There are a few Projects here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/resources/make/ - try the SenseHat data logger for a starter.

There are also articles in the MagPi (free PDF downloads available), see here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/magpi/

... and then there is a massive amount of information on the internet; just search. You need to ask a more specific question to get a more specific answer ;)
