using wiringPi and PiAUISuit in raspberry with VisualGDB

Sun Jun 28, 2015 2:00 am

Hi folks, i'm new to this forum, i started a while ago a school project wich consist of using voice recognition in Raspberry Pi, i started to learn the basics of the GPIO and wiringPi library, and also found Steven Hickson's Project ( PiAUISuite ) wich consist of voice recognition in raspberry Pi, i ran the voicecommand example and worked fine, so i want to know if i can merge voicecommand project of the PiAUISuite with wiringPi using just C++ and cross compiling it with VisualGDB ? and later adding QT ?

any help and examples would be greatly appreciated :D

thank you

I've never used PiAUISuite and QT before but I've used VisualGDB and WiringPi a bit. I'm a big fan of VisualGDB and in my experience you pretty much can import any C++ that can cross compile under GCC into your VisualGDB projects. So I think up to that point you should be able to get things working without too much hassles. The QT part might be trickier as I believe there are all kinds of libraries and stuff that you need to link in.

Return to “C/C++”
