Sun Jun 14, 2015 12:51 pm

Hey,

I have a RPi 2 with fresh Raspbian install'and I have an issue with Epiphany browser and Youtube.

720/1080p video run well but there is a persistent red player icon in front.

This prevent me from using the control bar...

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks!

I haven't used Epiphany in a while since upgrading to Jessie, but might this be a solution to the problem?

a red icon in the top right corner of the screen indicates overheating!

You missed what the OP is talking about: the red play icon centered in the video area.

I also had this problem, but fixed it by using the js-file in that post:

Code: Select all

curl -Lo hack-video-embed.js https://www.dropbox.com/s/b4gg8e85qsjd0qz/hack-video-embed.js?dl=0
sudo mv /usr/share/epiphany-browser/hack-video-embed.js /usr/share/epiphany-browser/hack-video-embed.js.org
sudo mv hack-video-embed.js /usr/share/epiphany-browser/
