I am using pi-2 to play videos but the video is very unsteady and audio does not work.

When using HDMI the audio is in there too. Does your converter extract that and give an analogue audio output? If not you need to force the audio to come from the RPi 3.5 mm jack. Google for that.jozien1722 wrote:I neglected to mention that this happens when connected to HMDI and when connected
