Please help me to run Waveshare 2,2"LCD μPD161704A/BD663474

Hello

as I mentioned in the topic
I would like to run the display (from DVK511 board) on my RPi rev. B

On resellers page (the one I bought it from) it is written that it is μPD161704A
but on WVshare website I find it as http://www.waveshare.com/2.2inch-320x24 ... -lcd-a.htm

hi, the upd161704A is the chip... for the LCD; check out:

The zip contains some sample codes... might be helpful. The LCD looks very cool, supports SPI /

but will I boot to a small desktop on that LCD?
this LCD has a touchscreen

Maybe. There are several miniature color LCD display HAT boards for the Raspberry PI (and perhaps this little board could be mounted to work in a similar context). Its worth looking into. Do some searching on google and see what you can find relative to LCD miniature displays and RPi HAT(s). Take a look at this HAT from adafruit:

the link you gave me contains a file but readme there tells me it's for x86 and I'm lost :?
