Signage Software

Looking for some Signage software, i have been looking at Rise Vision and like how it all works, but i when it comes to video its not that good it uses a stripped down version of chrome and doesnt use the on board gpu from what i understand?

What im wanting to do is be able to play like RTSP camera streaming and stats like from SQL DBs and things like that

So is there anything good for this? Id rather use the PIs than buy the intel nuc..
