reboot or poweroff hang with Raspberry Pi 2

I installed the latest ArchLinux ARM and updates for Raspberry Pi 2. The installation works and Raspberry Pi works.

However, when I run

reboot
or

poweroff
, the system will hang in half way and no response. I have tried power off the Pi and same problem happen. My Pi should has enough power to run (2A).

After some tries, I notice that if I unplug the USB keyboard when Pi hang during

reboot
or

Code: Select all

poweroff
, then it continue to run to reboot or poweroff finally. I suspect the USB device/services is responsible for the freeze issue.

Any ideas on how problem? Please advice. Thanks.

You can view the logs using dmesg. Post them here so we can sift through them.

It's better to use
sudo apt-get install pastebinit
dmesg | pastebinit # which returns a URL

Then post that URL of the dmesg stuff on here.

Dougie, we do not use apt-get in Arch, please note which OS and subforum before suggesting a wrong package manager.

You have a PS/2 mouse attached somehow? Have not seen that mousedev line on my pi, which uses a USB mouse.

The lines about "faulty personality" look important, looks like there are threads on the web about that for archlinux, but they are above my head.

I add "raid=noautodetect" to /boot/cmdline.txt, but it doesn't help.
