No Boot and No Red Light

Wed Mar 25, 2015 2:52 am

Hey guys,

I got my Raspberry Pi B+ a few weeks ago and worked on it with no problems for a while. Loaded Raspian, downloaded wiringPi, and configured some I2C stuff. Today, out of nowhere, it won't turn on anymore. When I plug it in, the green light glows solid but there's no red light and there's no reaction from my monitor. Did I break my Pi?

Thanks,
BW

No red light means not enough power (or the Pi is really broken).

Try another power supply and cable. Hopefully it is just a bad PSU.

I tried a new PSU, and it does the same thing, so it must be broken. Is there any way I can try to fix it, or is it dead for good?

let it rest for a few days, there is a slim chance its just a blown polyfuse, which will recover after a few days (if you don't turn it on).
