Newbie with Rpi2 WIFI issue

Sat Mar 21, 2015 8:06 am

Hi there Rpi Community!

I have recently purchased a Rpi2 to replace the ageing pc components in my arcade cabinet. I have installed the piplay beta 8 image and all is going well.

I have a noname dongle which is not being recognised by the pi at all, however when I use it on my linux mint laptop the lsusb command gives me an ID of IBDA:0179

with this information, could someone please support me to get this dongle working on the pi2.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards
Martin
