Rpi - Bluetooth peripheral keyboard help

Mon Mar 09, 2015 6:24 pm

Hi Pi Friends, I recently bought a new bluetooth Keyboard and mouse. My mouse has a USB Bluetooth dongle; the keyboard however does not. I was wonder if there is a way to use both devices off the same dongle connector? Or some alternative to connecting my keyboard wireless to my Pi, without a dongle. Thank you :)

If you bought the keyboard and mouse together (or, like some Logitech units, they use a 'unified dongle'), then they will probably both work off the same dongle. Otherwise, your keyboard may have it's dongle tucked away in a compartment on the side or back.

No, no, no, that's for RF wireless keyboards and mouses. If they are indeed Bluetooth, you should need just the one BT adapter.

They're the same brand. I've been doing some research, I'm fairly certain they're 'unified' compatible. The Keyboard didn't come with a Dongle though. Thanks for your help :)
