transposed keystrokes

Forgive me if this is answered already.
My keyboard seem to be configured wrong. The " and @ are reversed as well as the # and £. I have used multiple keyboards and It does not matter which one I use. I don't even know how to get to £ I copied and pasted the #.

Raspbian defaults to UK layout. Use raspi-config to set your locale and keyboard layout.
