REMOTE LOGIN ISSUE

Thu Feb 26, 2015 5:20 am

Hello friends !
I am facing a problem with respect to remote login since past few days and seems that everything regarding password publickeys and stuff is ok.

Then how to overcome this problem ?

1. SSH server is enabled on my pi
2. IP address is correct I am able to ping it
3. The only message I get is permission denied.

Please help me to solve this is issue....I am a beginner using Pi in my project

Is it possible that the machine that you are ssh'ing from has a firewall that is blocking the connection?

Try it with ssh -vvv and post the results.

More detail needed.

What system are you connecting from?

What SSH client are you using?

Can you get any logging or diagnostics from the failed connection?

What os do you have on the RPi?

What OS is on the laptop? What ssh client are you using on the laptop (e.g. putty)?
