Belkin 2A charger

Tue Jul 03, 2012 1:04 pm

Hi.
I'm about to buy this 2A charger for my still-to-arrive Pi:

Belkin F8Z752

It's a Spanish? "round-connectors" version, the UK version should be this.

Questions are, have anybody tried it with the RPi? How well it performs? Any feedback on general quality of Belkin chargers? Suggested equivalents/alternatives?

Many thanks to everybody in advance.

You will need a different cable though cos the big end fits an iphone/ipad and the other is a standard male USB plug. you want a cable that has a Male USB at one end and a mini usb with round sides like the plug on the right in https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-BcLK ... +micro.png

Yeah, I was aware of the cable issue. The problem is that it's difficult to find a 2.1A charger with a micro USB cable. Usually they are for tablets, and their connectors are specific to every vendor. This one seems like a good charger, you just need an extra USB to micro USB cable (which I already have ;))

Here you mean micro USB.
