Several Errors in journalctl

Sat Feb 21, 2015 7:29 am

Any ideas what these mean and how to solve them? I recently updated to the February image and ran pacman. I do not recall any of these errors in the older image I used earlier.

Code: Select all

Feb 19 20:52:28.113957 server systemd[1]: Failed to reset devices.list on /system.slice: Invalid argument
I get this during every boot. Someone else has the same problem: http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... 0&p=677776

Code: Select all

Dec 31 16:00:07.321598 server systemd[1]: Cannot add dependency job for unit display-manager.service, ignoring: Unit display-manager.service failed to load: No such file or directory.
I get this during every boot. I looked in /etc/systemd/system/* and don't see this service listed.

Code: Select all

Feb 20 14:18:05.134703 server kernel: pcm512x 1-004d: Failed to reset device: -5
I removed snd-bcm2835 from /etc/modules-load.d/raspberrypi.conf. Is this related? Is some other driver or service trying to access the sound card?

This pops up randomly. Even when I'm not logged in.

There are no Arch images any more, do you mean the February tar file?

Which model of Pi? I have not updated my system to February, but this looks suspiciously to me like potentially a bad cable or power supply. Or failure to sync after the update before rebooting, with corrupt file system.

Does any of that make sense in your situation?

it's a B+. i'm using an iphone power supply. i'm getting these errors on multiple pis, so i don't think it's the hardware.

"Same Here"
I'm running a model B Rev 2 and a B+. On the B Rev 2, I do not get the error on the B+ I do. Both are configured almost identically, Both are at current Kernel (3.18.7-9-ARCH). The pi still functions (I have MPD and motion running) and can ssh into and everything is just fine as far as I can tell.

My error is:

I just noticed this today on my new Pi2, never seen that error on the B+ either. Guessing something in the kernel needs tweaking maybe, be interesting to know what it is.
