TV in standby on shutdown

Wed Feb 18, 2015 9:20 am

Hello,
I have a Raspberry Pi Model B+. It is my media player for my tv set with OpenELEC 5.0 (Kodi 14) installed on it.
My tv is hooked up with a hdmi cable.
Whenever I properly shutdown my Raspberry Pi (via the GUI) it also puts my tv in standby.
Is there a way to prevent this?
Thanks.

The TV is controlled by the CEC commands http://kodi.wiki/view/CEC#Common_Issues_with_CEC

Thanks. My tv indeed has CEC. But can I deactivate the standby command for the tv on exit?

Yes, you can deactivate CEC. Just go to Video Settings in Kodi.

Cheers
