Raspberry Pi 2 4K support

Hi all. Does the new Raspberry Pi 2 supports 4K resolutions (3840 x 2160), because I just connected with a 4K compatible TV and it outputs only from 1080p and bellow. Thx in advance.

You can get a desktop at 4k (there's a thread on the forum about it somewhere), but video playback etc has a max resolution of just over 1080p.

The update to Pi 2 was only the ARM moving from v6 to quad-core Cortex-a7, and 1GB memory. The Videocore-IV GPU remains exactly as before, so HDMI video output remains the same as all the previous versions of R-Pi.

Basically you can get the GUI doing 3840x2160 at 24, 25 or 28Hz fiddling with /boot/config.txt without doing any kind of overclock, or a 30Hz one overclocking/overvolting/forcing turbo, but mind you the overclock values are for B models and they are not the same at all for a Pi2B, so to be safe I just use the 28Hz configuration.
