Shipping name and address confusion

Hello, months ago a friend of mine and I registered our interest on the Raspberry Pi model B on Element14, when we received the notification to do the pre-order, we did two (one with my name and address and another one with his name and address, but we used the same credit card (mine) because he had no bank account.

On the 20th of June, I got a mail with an activation code to order the Raspberry Pi, I did the order and I thought everything was fine, but my friend didn't get anything. Yesterday, he received an e-mail saying that the Raspberry Pi was already shipped from their warehouse, with my name on the top but with his name and address for the delivery, and I haven't got anything from Raspberry Pi or Element14 since I ordered it.

Could anyone tell me what is going on? Is everything OK and we both are going to get our Raspberry Pis but they made a bit of a mess with the e-mails and the names, or is going to be shipped just one of the Raspberry Pis and sent to one of us...randomly?

Does anyone know what can we do to solve this problem? Any idea would be appreciated.

First thing to do is check with your credit card company and see how many Raspberry Pis you were charged for. Once you know that, you should have a better idea about what reality is, and be better able to handle communications with Element14 about the situation.

You could just contact Element14 first, but I think it makes more sense to see whether you were charged for one or two units so you know whether the problem is they seem to be sending one but charged you for two, or the problem is that they failed to honor the second order because of the credit card.

On 30th of June, €40 were charged on my credit card, I guessed this means that only one Raspberry Pi is going to be sent to any of us. Today he received the Raspberry Pi and I won't get one...

I hope there is a solution, I'd love to get a Raspberry Pi, I think we did everything alrigt (although we shared my credit card, but not addres, name, e-mail, phone number...) so this seems to be some sort of mistake from Element14 or the Raspberry Pi people. I think I'm being extremely patient...and I will be, but I'd like to know if I'm going to be able to get a Raspberry Pi or not....

Any idea, please?
