Hi guys,
I used the win32 imaging tool to make my SD card image. I have a 4gb SD card, but the imaging tool seems to break it up into 2 partions, is this normal? its just i end up with 300mb space on the main partition.
Is there a way to merge the partitions? or should i just leave it how it is and use the other partition as storage for applications etc?
Thanks in advance

Re: SD card partitions
The partition defaults to 2GB, ignoring the rest of your card.
Instructions to extend the partition are here...

or you could get more detailed instructions in page 8 of the June edition of the MagPi magazine

Re: SD card partitions
Thanks for the info, i have got as far as moving my swap file fully to the end and having unallocated space next to my "home" partition. Problem i have now is i cant un-mount the home partition i guess this is because im trying to do it on my R-pi whilst running? it has the / command on that partition, it wont let me resize or anything as i cant unmount
any ideas?
