Hey I'm currently using my Pi 2 as my ownCloud, however I want to play some Retro Games and n64 Mario Kart with friends.
I've done it before but on my Pi 2 it lagged horrible. Now I'm getting a second Pi or alternative so I thought I'd try to get something that can play n64 and other Games without problems, any experiences or recommendations?

Re: What SoC for RetroPi?
Get a 3B.
Any language using left-hand whitespace for syntax is ridiculous

Re: What SoC for RetroPi?
mario kart 64 is ok on the 3 with retropie + mupen64-gles2n64. playable at 1080p in 4 player but has some lag. probably works better in lower resolutions as i believe the GPU is the limit.
