So i finally got to run the amazon alexa on the raspberry pi and here is a video showing it:

What i think is that even though its not nearly as good as Google Now or Apple's Siri, Amazon has done a great job in providing a detailed and comprehensive guide on installing alexa on the raspberry pi and also showing interest in the maker community.
