Raspberry pi zero | Arduino Esplora & PaPiRus ePaper

Sat Feb 06, 2016 12:52 pm

Hello this is closely related to my other post but this is regarding a raspberry pi zero and what it can do...

Soo the question is: Can the raspberry pi be connected to a PaPiRus ePaper 2.7inch display and an Arduino Esplora at once? Because Ive been looking at the sizes of the raspberry pi and the power pack im using for it and the controller and they just all add up to be super bulky....when if i use a raspberry pi zero im eliminating an entire 30mm...

Thankyou, Aaryn Skinner

You could connect the arduino to the single usb port or add a USB hub as well.

You have a few spare GPIOs so you could possibly bitbang communications between the arduino and the zero if you want to avoid using the USB options.

Know this is old, but you can actually drive the PaPiRus screen via Arduino also.

Just have to get the connections correct and there is already working code at https://github.com/repaper/gratis
