Is it possible to switch between multicple CSI cameras?
When the foundation releases the CSI camera module, I am hoping to get several of them. Would it be possible to use transistors on each pin of the camera connector to switch between each camera? If I did that, would the switching be instantaneous, or would I have to reinitialize every time?

Such a simple solution would never work, CSI signaling uses ultra high speed low voltage balanced (LVDS) signals similar to HDMI, these do not lend themselves well to such simple techniques, even making one signal lead halve a centimetre longer than its paired signal will kill the connection, so critical is this technique.
Maybe there are specialised LVDS multiplexer chips, but I doubt it. Also the camera is controlled through a dedicated i2C interface, (controlled by the GPU) adding to the complexity.

Yes you can. You need a special CSI multiplexer chip.
Fairchild have several.
